Various versions of the popular song "Why This Kolaveri Di" are roaming seam lessly across the boundaries - on the web. When I was roaming seemlessly on the web - my wife suggested why not make our own versions. So we made our own two versions by tweaking with Windows Movie Maker (this is the only video editor I am having wth me  ) . The videos are quiet amature . Amidst stock market crashes and bailout discussion , something found attention- why this kolaveri di?. If you have no idea of "Why this Kolaveri ",  then don't hesitate to click the above video and join the millions country wide ( rather world wide).

'Kolaveri di', a song from the upcoming Tamil movie '3', sung by popular Tamil movie star Dhanush has become an internet rage. It is still at the slot no.7 on the youtube video trends of US (ofcourse first in India) even after a week. As i am typing here the video hits are rising exponentially. I think it is sure to there for few more days. It has already heaped up 3.3 million views and should have reach 4 million mark as you are reading this.

Its 50 years since First Human Journey into outer space - Yuri Gagarin- A Film - A Doodle and Yoodle

On April 12, 1961 the first earthling escaped the gravity well of planet earth. In the spaceship Vostok 1, Senior Lieutenant Yuri Alexeyevich Gagarin orbited earth one time at an altitude of 187 3/4 miles (302 kilometers) for 108 minutes at 18,000 miles an hour. He was the first man to see that the earth was indeed round, indeed mostly water, and indeed magnificent. 

An image from the day of the launch had been painted onto the hulking Soyuz rocket, which was being tugged across the plain by an ageing diesel train. As the rocket was winched into its launch position, the face swivelled upright. Alongside it was the word “Poyekali”, or “Let’s go”, Gagarin’s final statement before he was launched into history.

80 years of Indian Talkie Cinema - Google Joins celebration with Doodle for Alam-Ara

Indian Talkie Cinema has completed 80 momentous years...

Alam Ara (The Light of the World; 1931), directed by Ardeshir Irani, was the first Indian sound film. Irani recognized the importance that sound would have on the cinema, and raced to complete Alam Ara before several other contemporary sound films. Alam Ara debuted at the Majestic Cinema in Mumbai (then Bombay) on March 14, 1931. The first Indian talkie was so popular that "police aid had to be summoned to control the crowds."

So today March 14th happens to be the 80th anniversary of this legendary film. And do you know , who is the first one to celebrate this momentous occassion of Indian CInema. It is non other that GOOGLE. Google celebrates the occassion in it's trade mark way by Doodling..
